Laveranues Coles is set to make a decision today on his future employer. Will it be the Buffalo Bills or the Miami Dolphins?
It has been reported that the Bills are offering more money but at this stage of Cole’s career, he is looking for a little more incentive. Miami offers a chance to reunite with his good friend QB Chad Pennington and the guy who drafted him, Bill Parcells.
The Jets gave up on Pennington last year and released him. They did the same with Coles this year. Here at Miami Sports Generation, we are hoping that Laveranues picks the Fins and he becomes a great asset to the organization as Chad did. After years of the Dolphins giving away players to their AFC East counterparts, it’s about time the Dolphins start getting something in return.
Coles is a Jacksonville native and Florida State University graduate, so a close-to-home factor is also involved. He would be a great acquisition, even though I believe he has lost a little pep in his step because of recent injuries.
